I’ve been an artist since the age of 10 and although I’ve had no formal training, my life experience is extensive. Practically a native, I’ve lived in NE Fort Lauderdale for 45years and I’ve raised 3 children with my husband of 32 years. Acrylic is my main medium and my style is intuitive usually resulting in an abstract style. It’s all about the story. The process. Thoughts and feelings, the constant battling of my inner critical voice, words, paint, collage, and found objects. Viewers are drawn into my work by a force they are not aware of. My willingness to be vulnerable while painting infuses an energy that invites you to stay. My work creates a narrative that not only bears my soul, but invites you to seek yours.
