Fort Lauderdale based artist, Bryin Smoot, was recently inspired to do a series of gay pride paintings after moving to the festive Wilton Manors. He wanted to create pieces that symbolize unity, pride and love within the gay community. Bryin works mostly with acrylic and occasionally oil, on canvas.
Bryin’s background as an art director and a successful hair and makeup artist for many years in New York and Los Angeles has strongly influenced how he approaches a new painting. With eye-catching, vivid colors and alluring subject matter, he creates memorable pieces.
